Overview
Chat events can be sent to Google Analytics, so the chatbot shows up in the same reports as the rest of your site rather than in a separate tool nobody opens.
You need GA or Google Tag Manager on the site already. The events recorded are chat opened, chat started, chat message with the sender, form started and form submitted — enough to build a funnel from someone landing on a page to leaving their details.
What you can do
These are the jobs the integration is built for.
See chat next to the rest of the funnel
Opened, started, message and form events land in the same GA reports as page traffic.
Measure from landing to contact
Build a path from a page view to someone leaving their details in chat.
Keep one analytics stack
Reuse the GA or Tag Manager setup already on the site, with no second reporting tool.
Set up
Connection happens inside your AI Chatbot widget. Open the Integrations tab, pick this connector, and follow the steps shown there.
- Open your AI Chatbot widget, go to the Integrations tab, and choose Google Analytics.
- Connect the property or Tag Manager container you already use.
- Publish the widget and confirm chat events appear in your existing reports.
Connected apps and their status are listed in Integrations in your widget, where you can disconnect access at any time.
Requirements
- Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager already installed on the site.
- An AI Chatbot widget published on the same pages you want to measure.
