How to add an AI Chatbot to Wix

Add a chatbot to your Wix site in five steps with screenshots. Paste the code into Custom Code in settings, publish, and check it on the live site.

Before you start

You need two things: your widget code snippet, and edit access to the Wix site. No apps to install and no premium plan requirement for the code itself.

Step by step

  1. In your Wix dashboard, open Settings, then Custom Code under Advanced.

  2. Click Add Custom Code and paste your snippet into the box.

  3. Set it to load on All pages, and place it in Body - end.

  4. Give it a name so you recognise it later, and apply.

  5. Publish the site. Changes saved but not published will not appear.

Try it on your own Wix site

Paste your website address and watch it build itself. It reads your pages, works out what your business does and drafts how it should speak — then you can ask it something about your own business and see what it says.

Check it works

Open your live Wix URL in a private window. The launcher should be in the corner you chose.

If it is missing, the two usual causes are an unpublished change, or the code set to load on a single page rather than all of them.
